How early should the child’s eyes be checked?

How early is should the child be checked? It can be at 6 months!
Then every year.
Children can see colour starting at 3 months, and depth starting at six months.
They are usually born with a bit of farsightedness, hyperopia, but if it’s too high, they may need correction earlier.
