I had troubling reading and writing in high school. I had so much typos. My English teacher thought it was due to my English as the second language, as I was in my fourth year in Canada when I was in grade 9. He gave me extra help, he proofreads my work before I hand them in. It was very hard for me to see my own mistakes. I daydream a lot in classes since grade school. I took lots of breaks. I did my homework while I was working at my dad’s Chinese restaurant. So I was taking longer breaks from studying to work there part time. I made errors with client’s phone numbers and addresses. I didn’t get fired, since my dad owned the restaurant.
It was worse in University. I was very hard for me to try to study in the library. I fall asleep after an hour usually.
My case is not alone. Many kids experience this. Some call it learning disabled. But mine was a vision related learning problem. I was identified as having hidden eye turn in Optometry School, with a large exophoria, worse at near. My eye teaming was not good at all.
It got worse after I had a car accident, due to the concussion, I found help after. Watch my video to see how I and others can overcome it.
