Which eye surgery is the best to correct my vision?

Laser Eye Surgery Toronto
The holiday and the summer are usually a time when many people ask me about Laser eye surgery?

Should I do it?
Why do/don’t you do it?
Which eye surgery is the best?
When is the best time to do it?

These are some of the frequently ask questions.
The most critical question is if you should do it? The other one is which procedure is the best?

The types of procedure out there today include PRK, LASIK, wavefront-guided LASIK, reLEX-SMILE, and ICL (implantable contact lens).

What is best is irrelevant in this case. What is best for you is a better question that can be addressed.
Aside from the few absolute contraindications such as glaucoma, retinal holes, keratoconus, there are relative contraindications or considerations such as your own eye power, amount of astigmatism, corneal thickness, keloid/scarring, amount of dry eyes, previous eye/lid surgeries, personality type, visual needs.

To find out if you are a good candidate, and which procedure is best for you, ask your local Optometrist for a refractive surgery consult. You would get an independent opinion on which procedure is best for your eyes, which equipment, and/or which surgeon might work best with you.
